What to look for in topicals
A topical is a cannabis balm, lotion, or patch applied to the skin for localized use. Standard topicals stay in the outer layers of skin and do not enter the bloodstream, so they do not produce the head-centered effect of other formats. Transdermal patches are the exception, using a special membrane to release cannabinoids into the bloodstream over several hours; read the label to know which you are choosing.
